1978 Volkswagen Transporter bus in Turkis (Torquise) with brown interior.

This bus has been extremely well taken care of. Runs, drives, brakes fantastic! The exterior locks function with 1 key, and all of the knobs / turn signals / horn / heater / lights work as they should!

You can easily cruise 60 MPH on the freeway without any issues. The suspension is very tight, and the steering is direct. The 2.0 Litre motor gives this car enough juice to run around sometimes even forgetting your driving a Volkswagen Bus!

The radio has very good speakers, and works well. The previous owner installed a kill switch so that you can turn the radio on / off without having to turn the ignition on.

The bus comes with the original spare, receipts. It literally has $31,000+ just in receipts!

The interior is in good shape, but could still use some work. The headliner has a few areas that are not perfect, and the driver side seat needs to be reupholstered. A few panels need to be taken apart and stapled back together. Otherwise it is very complete including a crack free dash, good sun visors, middle bench, rubber mats, steering wheel.

This bus was originally painted at the factory Mustard Yellow and Mocha Brown, but in 2012 the owner decided to paint the car in a 1960’s vintage splitty color (Trukis) which looks fantastic!

When the car was painted the body shop removed all of the windows, and replaced the rubber seals before putting them back in. The car received a few rust repairs on the center of the bus (see photos). The work was done with original Volkswagen panels that retained the factory grooves. Battery tray has some typical rust.

The paint job looks very nice! A 9/10. When the bus was painted they did not remove the engine, nor did they paint inside. Therefore it still retains its original Mustard Yellow paint underneath the dash, engine bay, carpet, etc.

There are a few things that can be done to take this bus to the next level. Some people may care to do them right away, and others will never address the “issues”. It is up to the next owner to decide. During the photo shoot around 8 people literally stopped what they were doing, walked over or honked to say that’s a nice bus!

A stunning 1982 Mercedes Benz 380SL in Light Ivory (color code 623) with leather (Mocha Brown) interior.

This car runs, drives flawlessly. The motor, transmission shifts seamlessly with plenty of power. There are no rattles, or shakes. The breaks work very good, and true. This car has been well taken care of, and has always been parked inside of a garage. This can be seen throughout every aspect of the car. The interior is in near immaculate shape. All the rubbers are original, and have not dried up inside of the windows, door pillars, around trunk, and hood. The dash is perfect, steering wheel completely original including factory leather texturing, the wood does not have the typical cracking, and flacking, the carpet is original and super clean. All of the gauges are crisp and beautifully lit when the lights are on. Every switch on this car works as it should. Including all of the vacuum controlled fan switches. The heat blows hot, and the AC blows ice cold.

Completely solid and rust free. The trunk even has the original First Aid kit, spare tire that never touched the ground, jack and tool pouch.

All windows on the car are still on the car from the factory (SEKURIT) without pits or chips. The original radio remains inside of the car (BECKER). It works, and so does the antenna up / down switch.

The paint on the car is in near perfect condition (9.5 / 10). If this car was repainted they did such a good job we cannot tell for certain. The only thing that is needed for this car to be perfect is to get a new soft-top replacement. The original soft top has two 5 inch splits near the threading.

This is one if not the cleanest 380SL we have ever seen.

Originally a California car that had moved to Texas.

Runs, and drives really well with its original motor. Motor revs extremely fast, and sounds really beefy!

Carburators have been switched out from flat tops to round tops (the better of the two) but the originals are included with the car in a box.

Extremely dry all the way around. The only rust on the car is on the exterior driver side pillar and its not that bad.

Suspension has been gone through, and the nicely fitted wheels have brand new tires.

The interior is clean, and tidy with no tears in the seats. The original radio is still in the car, and it works!

The car comes with the original manual, misc. receipts, original carbs, exhaust manifold, washer tank, oil pan, and original window sticker!

Car has been repainted in its life time, and looks perfect in the photos, however I would rate it a 6.5.

All in all a great little car that could use new paint, and rubbers to be a great one. The passenger door does not close flush after a brand new set of seals were installed. New passenger seal included with the car.
