1973 Datsun 240z, color codeĀ 115, Blue Metallic

  • Complete, and original California blue plate car.
  • Non numbers matching L24 with a manual 4 speed transmission
  • Runs, and drives but is rough. Brakes are mooshy.
  • The body is solid, however it does have some rust underneath the driver side floor, and one tiny hole inside the passenger front wheel well, and even smaller number of holes on the panel below the windshield.
  • The undercarriage is ugly, but those are the only three small spots with rust driver floor being the biggest by far. The passenger floor has a dent.
  • The reason there is primer all around the car is due to bare metal areas that were open to the environment. The owner didn’t want the areas to rust. So, he temporarily covered them with primer prior to paint some point in the future.

1971 Datsun 240z Series 1

107K original miles same owner for the last 21 years.

California blue plate car, with new tires all around and nice mag wheels.

The car was repainted 21 years ago, but held up great. Very straight body, and completely rust free undercarriage.

The hatch had some surface rust so the owner put some sort of gel to stop from water getting in. Other then that Its solid.

Automatic transmission but was rebuilt recently shifts good.

The car runs, and drives straight, brakes straight. Carbs are not perfect. The owner said he drove the car 5k miles in the last 20 years, and the carbs can use a little cleaning. When the car is warmed up all the way you have to keep the choke slightly on for it to run like it should.

The interior is in great shape. The seats were redone in good leather. The dash has a couple of cracks as usual.

Wooden steering wheel and horn button in good shape.

Enjoyable car to drive, if a manual transmission is fitted will be a great, great driver.

AC pump, condenser installed, but needs freon recharged.

Receipts, manuals, original keys come with the car.
