1989 Mercedes Benz 560SL
First Impression : Clean, straight, shiny SL with clean interior. Drives tight, and sturdy.
Exterior / Body : Very good second paint job done a long time ago (7.5/10). Straight car with good body gaps. No major accidents, or structural damage found. Undercarriage original, and very dry. Bright work / chrome in good shape with minimal scratches. Pin striping fading in some areas, some rock chips here, there.
Interior : Super clean, original interior with no cracks in the dash. Everything seems to work. No check engine lights. Heater works hot / AC works cold as ice.
Technik : Runs, and drives really great. Engine is super smooth when idling, or accelerating. It feels like the car was well taken care of. Tracks straight and true with very tight steering. Recent service (9/22/17) includes fuel pressure accumulator, oil pan gasket, cylinder head gasket, valve cover, transmission pan, steering box gasket replaced, ac system recharge (R134), new battery, new tires, (continued to 7/13/17).. spark plugs, spark plug wires, brake pads, rotors, distributor rotor, fuel pump and a few older misc. receipts. $8200 in total.
Negatives : One light bulb out (dash tells you) not sure which one, rock chips, a few small dents on the passenger rear quarter (minimal), some wear on driver bolster.
