1981 Pontiac Trans Am Turbo !

In 1980, and 1981 Pontiac produced this TURBO Trans Am.

It was only produced for two years, and it was the first american muscle car to have a turbo..!

This is a 4.9 litre carbureted V8 engine with a intercooler free turbo…! It had 4 wheel disc brakes with optioned aluminum fan wheels, power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, power antenna, special handling package, special performance package, slip differential, removable glass T-Tops, and Turbo Spooling gauge on the hood.

This car is in almost immaculate condition. It has been garaged, and pampered since new when it was sold for $12,0111.23 in 1981..!

This car was owned by one man the majority of his life. Whatever the car needed he would take it directly to the dealership.

The inner door jams of the driver side, driver door, part of front driver fender and trunk have been repainted. The rest of the car remains in its factory paint. See photos of the paint meter readings.

The interior remains completely original and in really, really nice shape. The headliner, dash, seats, carpet are almost new. The only modifications being a speaker and radio upgrade. The man spent $400 twice on a new radio in the 70’s and 90’s with receipts for both.

It runs, and drives really nice. The Turbo has been rebuilt in 2009 at 89K miles.

Completely rust free with two vinyl pockets from GMC which you use to stow away the targa top glass inside the trunk.

The car comes with a spare, jack, window sticker, and every receipt since it was new. The physical paper trail grand total spent on maintenance, and up keep / upgrades is $ 22,923.86.

What is not perfect? The belts are old, and they are spinning. The AC does not blow ice cold. She is already at the mechanic to replace all of the belts, and insure everything is in tip top shape ready for its new owner.

Plates not included.
